Mata Sahib Kaur Public School, Swara has wide infrastructure for the growth of students. With the help of 120+ Staff members, School is providing quality education to approximately 2200 students. Currently School have 85 Class Rooms, Advanced Labs, Basketball Court, Kho-Kho ground, Volleyball Court and Badminton Court.

School Library

The school has a large airy, well-stocked, it is well-housed with text books, reference books, books on fiction, G.K., Science. Encyclopedias, Children’s Britannica, Reader’s Digest, etc. In addition to this it also has a regular supply of newspapers, magazines and journals in English, Hindi and Punjabi. The CBSE syllabus and sample papers of all subjects are available both for utilization of the students as well as the teachers.

Computer-Lab

It’s a fully functional, multi-media lab, well-equipped, with twenty computers plus 1 server, CD drives, Speakers. Children have access to the internet services. Syllabus is based on CBSE pattern, it also has a power back-up facility (in case of power failure).

Laboratory

The school has big well-ventilated laboratory fully equipped with required gadgets, apparatus and related materials. Experiments are conducted by students of classes IV-X under the able guidance of teachers. Proper discipline is maintained, and safety measures are taken. Wearing of Lab-coats is compulsory for conducting experiments of Biology and Chemistry. Every year the school keeps adding latest equipments to the laboratory.

Sports Activities

A sound program of physical education helps the students develop a healthy body and lots of recreation. The school provides track for athletes, and ground\courts for all games such as Basketball, Volleyball, Cricket, Badminton, Hand Ball, Kho-Kho.

All students are required to take part in organized games and sports. These are supervised by well qualified Physical Training Instructors. Students are selected to play at State and National levels. Every year many students receive scholarships for participation in sports. Inter-House competitions are held in all games and sports.

Math Lab

The primary objective of the laboratory is to enrich mathematics as a discipline by providing them with an environment, which encourages learning by discovery approach.

Medical Room

Medical room of the school is well equipped with the required medical equipments. There is a one M.B.B.S., M.D. Child specialist Doctor visits the school twice a week, medicines are given free of cost. In case of any sudden illness or accident, First Aid is provided in the Medical Room of the school. In case of an emergency the child is taken to the nearest Hospital/ Nursing Home for treatment and parents are immediately informed.

Music Room

The school boasts well equipped music rooms. Here students are given opportunities to sing, play, listen and talk about music. The department is well resourced and uses the latest modern technology as well as more traditional instruments. We provide complete course for vocal and instrumental music (i.e. Gurmat Sangeet, Classical, Semi Classical, Folk and various style of singing). Music department prepare students for National and International competition.
